From that day morning, I had a dream that I was playing my yamaha digital organ, in front of some people that I don't know them at all. Never give up the good things. My curiousity has given me all the good things, but one thing to say in my wishing to everyone around the world. Chinese culture values will always keep in my mind. I learned to accept everyone culture values, so this year my wishing for everyone.

Kong Hay Fatt Fatt Choy!! A peaceful and a joyful time together!! A strong bridge to build and a good friendship to last forever. Let us show the next generation peace, and love all the good things. The joy is to laugh with noises, but let's think of those poor people and gives them joy. If you are very rich, do think of those who needs it. Be generous, and all the good things comes to you. A wish that, I hope everyone make it!

Supersitious Full Moon 14 September!!

I have a good shot with my long lense camera, a beautiful photo in Nantes hyper city between Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. Than put some artwork faces on it. Photo & Artwork by Margaret Yick.

This moon is very important fall on 14th September. The Chinese Moon Cakes Festival with colorful lanterns. I shot many of this photos in the city Passage Pommeraye Nantes.
If this full moon is rounded, it will brings us some good news. Never point your finger at the moon. It you look time to time at the moon, she is beautiful. Prayers and wishing is important to night.

Tonight 14 September mid-day, I gave some little Chinese Paper Lanterns to my neighbourhood one of their daughter. Explaining to them the chinese tradition style, and supersitious about the moon fall on this day. To celebrates with lanterns and noises, if we don't see the moon tonight.

I guess most of the Chinese people celebrates the "Moon Cakes Festival" on 14th Septmeber 2008. I'm anxious and supersitious for tonight to have a full rounded moon to shine on us, and to protect and bless our wishes.

We had a wonderful bright day with cold wind. As I had mentioned to be in coast to lookout for the moon. We went to the coast, and I shot many photos, stopped somewhere for a drink. After one day trip on the way home at night, we saw the moon coming out. Arrived home, I immedaitely shot some nice photos.

That's our blessing full rounded moon shine on us. It mean good news, and I make a wish speaking to the "Full Rounded Moon". Those who out on this night, good luck!! And those who had listen my story, hope you have had make a wish!!

Allo! Vien ici La Vie est Belle, Ici Place Saint Pierre Nantes c'est pas mal. Le service de bar very very good.
We walked down the lane away from Passage Pommeraye, weather is pretty cool with some wind, and across the road end at Place Saint Pierre. This place we used to stay in one of the ancient building, and time to time we had a cold drink at Place Saint Pierre.

Today, since Mr Lion had finished half of his bathroom, it's time to relax with a cold beer. I bought a can of cookie to send to Singapore for children. I also bought 2 bottles of french pates, knowing Monsieur Jean Claude is a friendly and his good servicing, surely he will accept us to take our small snack outside his bar area, a carpark place which we can admire people and Catherdale church. I just want to discover the french foods that made in Bretange.
I bought things to taste from that friendly lady who had served me before, just around the corner beside Monsieur Jean Claude Place Saint Pierre Bar.

Hmmm... it taste good, and when the sun goes down, Monsieur Jean Claude said..its time to catch some photo now. Well, up our hands with camera but today I forgotten my chip. Nevermind, I will do it again. Since we're living inside the city, I still have plenty time to do it.

Supersitious 15th September!!

First time to china for 3 reason and 3 papers to be there. After one year, I visited china again, travelled alone and visited Isabelle at that time she studied in Tongji University in Shanghai. Ah Mah Gong is a cantonese word, it mean Ah Mah Say you must travel across the next ocean, and you will see thing better. You will learned things that you have not done yet!! Ah Mah gong, she said that, chinese tea leaves is a medicine that can cure some illness and virus.
Ah Mah gong, she said that, her mother always remind her not to follow stranger, and do things with your eyes open in 4 corners.
China has long history, and since the door is open to everyone, it's time to visit china and think over should we go back to our homeland. Across the ocean or river, I found it beautiful. I liked those chinese style building.
Lotus flower comes in white and pink. Flowers also has meaning for a gift. There are some white flowers you shouldn't give to chinese people, espescially on big day!! Lotus seeds also good for health, do you know that???

Ah aiyor! Ah Mah gong, she said that....never shit in someone house, your shit will brings you luck at home. So, please shit at home!!

Supersitious accordingly to my Ah Pau and Ah Mah, Ah Pau mean grandmother. They said that, you should finished your bathroom and toilet before the day 15th of the month. It mean tomorrow, it's an important day for most of the chinese people going to celebrates the Moon Cakes Festival. The moon is very important for tomorrow, if the moon is full and rounded in bright white color. It mean all of us will have good luck. So, watch out tomorrow September 15, the moon is very important.

Well, I had painted my toilet bowl in Red. It mean the red will keep good luck and chase away the ghost in Passage Pommeraye.

When guest visit Mr Lion, all of us will end up in Saint Michel, Saint Malo and Liseux Church. Regina from Melbourne visited Nantes in France, and we show her the best place to enjoy, and to gives a good memory. She got a wonderful time, it was a beautiful day with sunshine on us. No more pain for her legs after climbing all these staircases.
We walked right up in Mont Saint Michel, the air is fresh, looking down the view of Mont Saint Michel Sea is fantastic!!
I liked to admire all this ancient stone building, it does give a chic look!! Indeed I like Normandy when the first time I visited Deauville city. Normandy is beautiful with green land, and houses and apartment does give a normandy style. In france I preffered the stone building, with neat designs.
Hahaha..someone shot a photo at me while I'm trying to shot many nice souvenir photos for our guest from Melbourne. Coco's having a great time, he's happy over here knowing that, there will be lots of dogs visiting Mont Saint Michel.
Liseux church, Fr. Wahid France, enjoying his trip with one reason during his Priests conference days in Lyon. We gave him a place to sleep, and show him the best part in France to visit. He told us about some stories in those churches in Paris. We send him to Normandy, lived in our little flat, now had sold away. Fr. Wahid took a bus down to Liseux church, after few days rest for him, Mr Lion send him to Mont Saint Michel. To translate our conversation between English and French, it took few minutes. Finally, Fr. wahid met that monk Francois, and managed to stay there for 3 nights instead 2 nights. Quash! Fr. Wahid got his luck

and he's very happy in France. We felt great to give him a free servicing.
I had travelled to melbourne, and there I felt very happy is the joy to laughed. The most beautiful thing is to enjoy your life, and to learned things that I don't know it. I learned few thing from Fr. Wahid in Melbourne. A good humour with good respect. In his returned to me, I was invited for lunch together with his mother. He showed me the best part in Melbourne. That's the beach I liked to see in melbourne, and the best candies shop.
We often travelled to Liseux church, and liked very much to be back in Normandy.

A trip to Kowloon and Hongkong, my curiousity to see things that different from other countries. Now I understood how my grandmother land, she born and lived there for few years' before touching down to Singapura. In Hongkong things are much expensive, and building is high and nice, understood very expensive living in Hongkong.
In Kowloon city this bathtub wasn't big, somehow it's comfortable to sit and take a shower. I hasn't see this in France and Singapura yet!! Although my grandmother has gone to heaven for so many years', I had learned many things from her. Now I understood between kowloon and Hongkong isn't the same way of living and working. We book this Chung King Mansion hotel from the internet, actually well known place a movie film were taken there. Its crowded with different races, the streets is very busy with tourists, and shops closed very late at night. If you can't speak contonese it will be harder to handle if you're in trouble. In general in the city some of the big shops able to speak English. We had a good time in Kowloon although it's polluted, it's a great trip knowing how people lived and worked in the city. Dark lane and busy night lifestyle. We just enjoyed the cantonese foods, tim sums, wanton noodles and peking ducks. It's fantastic and delicious!!. We go crazy staring at all the shops, eyeing at many things. Electronics is great in HongKong.In the evening very busy and polluted. We ate our break-fast in one of the 4 stars hotel in kowloon, it's expensive!! . To stay in the guest house hotel, 3 of us and there we see the rat running around the corridor at night. Just a bed, bathroom and air-conditioner, the air in the room is filled with dust, we locked our laggage at time!!. I make a complained and finally got a better room to sleep. Taxi fares is cheap with euronotes!!Hongkong building is very tall, the night lifestyle is great!! The harbour is filled with stock!!

Macau is not far, just catch a boat trip. Mr Lion paid us the trip in first class seat for 3 of us. I don't see any different in the first class seat, a simple noodles soup or sandwiches served by the hostess. Arrived Macau by boat trip isn't bad at all! Day fare is cheaper than night fare. I saw so many chinese people from china heading to casinos, and we just to have some fun and visited the best part of Macau by feets but sometime by taxi fare. Well! my big bag got from Hongkong city, isn't branded but trendy it has their own style. In Hongkong good for shopping and eating!! Once my future euronotes and singdollars filled in this bag, Frenchtosh will be shock to see how the Singaporean being so kaisu and not kaisee.We stayed in the 4 stars hotel, knowing my dead mother Ah Mah from Macau liked Macau portugese cake and biscuit. We'll enjoyed the cakes, and Frenchtosh mentioned it's so cheap, if he stayed in Macau, he will eat everyday. Hotel drinks isn't expensive, the cocktail drink is great!!. The foods is yummy yummy, and not expensive. We ate in the casinos, and I lost in the casnio too!! My bag is very big, waiting for the coming years to fill up with fresh clean notes!! Allo! it's not a channel or LV bag, do you know in Hongkong you can find cantonese designers. I had seen few shops many bags, very nice and trendy look. Frenchtosh had got a nice jacket suit with good buttons meaning on it!! I liked to shop in Hongkong very much, unfortunately we didn't stay long enough, but will visit Hongkong again!!. You see my bag is bigger than my body. Frenchtosh will be shock to see if one day I fill up with all the dollars notes!! Well! I would like to fill up 100singdollar notes and 500euronotes, not the yuan notes!! Motateng in cantonese word, as I had mentioned to ESMOD that, china has most of things espescially silk and cotton textile, once the door is open, the dragon and tigre is coming out. That's how to be rich!! The ancestor way of doing and saving each thing. I liked to be in Macau, and to bring my mother spirit back to her homeland.

Story of Ah Mah from Macau, Hongkong and Singapura!

Ah Mah Vision and Ah Mah gong. Cantonese Supersitious way of life. The colors and month is very important to us. Learn to respect an adult, you will be blessed for good luck and good fortune. Everything is real, the ghost is often there, dream can tell you what is going to happen, and the moon is very important to us. The month is also important to us, if we thinked of doing a business project or moving a new home. There a chinese ancient book to read your birthmark future.

Ah Mah gong, you must go to this beach and wash your sin, and wash away the evil things. This sea water will brings your wish comes true. Marine Parade and Katong Beach in Singapura.

Gong is a canotnese word, it mean "Say".

Ah Mah gong, you got to know how to swim, and learn things at young age. Ah Mah gong, the sea wave can bring you away to another island. Take a shower in the sea can wash away your sin, and chase away the evil things. Sea water can brings you luck, if you make a wish. Ah Mah gong, you must not swim during the period of 7 months, to avoid dead spirit calling for the next person. Ah Mah gong, you must learned to swim, and have to becareful the wave and the months. Ah Mah has gone to heaven, but all of us still can remember her stories given to us.

Actullay Ah Mah were born in GongDong, but ath the age of 3 she moved Macau raised by my grandmother. My grandmother were born in Hong Kong never married at all. My grandmother is very tall and beautiful. My grandmother liked me alot, and she loves to tell stories. The stories of ghost and chinese tradition events. And my Ah Mah used to tell stories to one of my sister lived in Melbourne. Knowing Ah Mah, her lifestyle between Hongkong and Macau. My mother used to played with a portuguese girl, came from a rich family. She used to go to church, believing the catholic style, but my grandmother wasn't a catholic. At the age of 16, Ah Mah fell in love with a portugese man in Macau. My grandmother were afraid to lived alone, and she asked Ah Mah to get married to a man that, match make by her. She said, either you married a rich handicap man, or a poor handsome man. Ah Mah married to my father born from Gongdong. Knowing my grandfather has a land in china. Who robbed the land in china, there's a story in it. After Ah Mah got married, Ah Pak brings Ah Mah to Singapura. Actually Ah Pah has land and a shop in Malaysia. His business is dealing with bicylces, cleaning and repairation motor cars. His brother wasn't rich, and Ah Pah gave away his land and shop to his brother in Malaysia. Since Ah Pah got married to Ah Mah, he want to gives Ah Mah a good lifestyle than moved to Singapura. Ah Mah had a maid at home, she called her ah mah chaire. Ah Mah Chaire do all the housework and educated children. Ah Pah used to travelled to Malaysia for business. He taught a japanese man how to be rich in Malaysia. Car tyres that rubber planation in malaysia. Just like all chinese men, good in business without going to a business school. It's an ancient brain storm, that brings forwards to the next generation. That's why chinese often liked to talk business, and to get rich very fast!! Ah Mah gong, She only can remebered her sister got killed during the japanese war. Her sister were supposed to visit her in Singapura, but due to the war, she got killed on her boatship. The bomb drop just like "A drop of water". From that onward, Ah Mah didn't want any of her children to married to a japanese man. Ah Pak is very intelligent dealing business with indonesia and malaysian people, he spoke in bahasa malayeu. Ah Pak favourite thing is his birds. Burong kakatua and kissing birds, beside that he liked to change new car. Ah Pak liked to buy diamonds and jade for Ah Mah, to pleased her when he's away for business. My grandmother often tell us stories, and my mother taught us how to be smart to do things by ourselves, at early age 3 years old. Washing, cooking and sewing a cloth by ourselves. Just cut 2 holes without a zip, using our lady fingers to touch everything. Now I trainned my dog to be smarter, after we had lost our first expensive dog in this pool. Cantonese supersitious, a dog must be well taken cared. Never chase a dog away, if you ever do that, you will be bad luck for years!! When a dog died, we have to return 9 life, it's a supersitious way of life for cantonese people.
